Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle
Honourable Prime Minister,
Shri Narendra Modi Ji
India gained freedom from British rule after a struggle of about 200 years. In 2023 we are going to complete 76 years of our freedom. On this occasion, I would like to share my views on ‘Unsung Heroes of Freedom Struggle’.
We earned freedom after the immense sacrifice and courage of our freedom fighters. Some freedom fighters are not famous enough for us, but they are equally heroic to the freedom struggle. There is much less written about them. Some unsung heroes of the freedom struggle are Birsa Munda, Khudiram Bose, Binay Badal Dinesh, Tirupur Kumaran, Anant Laxman Kanhere, Peer Ali Khan, Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay, Bhikaji Kama, Aruna Asaf Ali etc.
Now it is time to pay tribute to these unsung heroes of the Indian freedom struggle. They also deserve equal respect like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhash Chandra Bose etc.
Thanking you,
Yours truly
