Kolkata, April 13: A blood donation camp was organized by Don Bosco School in collaboration with Kolkata Medical College on April 12 in the school premises. Dr. Amit Pal, The principal of the school inaugurated the programme at 10 a.m. Dr. Shovan Ganguly, Blood Bank Officer, Kolkata Medical College, was the chief guest of the program.
A team of 3 doctors and 10 staff of Kolkata Medical College came for the blood collection. Over 100 participants donated their blood during the camp. At the end, 94 units of Blood were collected. A certificate of appreciation, gifts and refreshments were given to all donors as a token of gratitude. The programme ended with a vote of thanks.

Kalyani, January 3: A blood donation camp was organized by Kalyani Public School on Sunday, 2nd January 20XX, by the school committee. The motive behind the programme was to help voluntary blood banks and patients who need blood at hospitals. More than 200 people turned up at the school ground to donate blood. All the teachers, students and the residents of the area enthusiastically participated in the programme. The Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of Kalyani was invited as the chief guest of the programme. There were 5 doctors and 10 nurses from AIIMS Kalyani for conducting the camp. All the donors were given fruits and healthy drinks to energize their bodies.

Kolkata, January 27: The National Public School organized a Blood Donation Camp on 26th January 20XX on the occasion of Republic Day. The event was held in the school premises in collaboration with the Red Cross Society, Kolkata. Dr. Roy, a well-known surgeon was invited as the chief guest of the programme. He inaugurated the programme at 11 a.m. by donating his blood. A medical team was present to inspect the health of the donors and collect the blood. Before the camp, a mass awareness campaign was created by the school to motivate people to donate blood.
A total of 100 units of blood were collected from students, teaching & non-teaching staff and residents of the area. The blood donors were given fruits and biscuits in order to reenergize themselves. The event started with a short inaugural function by the college principal Dr. Dipak Kumar at 10 a.m. Honourable health minister Mr. Abhirup Saha was invited as the chief guest of the program. Kolkata, June 29: Motijhil Sporting Club, a famous club of Kolkata, organized a blood donation camp in the club premises yesterday.
200 persons including 50 women donated blood voluntarily to make the endeavour of the club a complete success. The blood donation camp was organized to celebrate the silver jubilee of the club.
